From West Monroe to Gonzales, Louisiana

Dr. Zeagler grew up in West Monroe, Louisiana, where she attended West Monroe High School. Her interest in movement, exercise, and the human body eventually led her to Baton Rouge, where she attended LSU.

While at LSU, Dr. Zeagler earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science, along with a minor in Psychology.

After completing her undergraduate degree, she moved to Pasadena, Texas, to attend Texas Chiropractic College, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Her path into chiropractic care actually began while she was still an LSU student.

How Dr. Zeagler Found Her Way to Chiropractic

Dr. Zeagler was introduced to chiropractic through her aunt, who had been seeing Dr. Matthew Shelly at the Geaux Chiro Prairieville location.

At the time, Dr. Zeagler was looking for part-time work while attending LSU, and her aunt mentioned that Dr. Shelly was looking for some help. She went in to talk with him, not realizing that the experience would eventually shape her entire career.

At first, Dr. Zeagler thought she wanted to pursue physical therapy. But after working in the chiropractic office and seeing the impact chiropractic care could have on patients, her plans began to change.

She quickly became fascinated by chiropractic and the difference it could make in people's everyday lives.

Dr. Shelly became an important mentor to her, teaching her not only about chiropractic but also about business and life. That experience ultimately inspired Dr. Zeagler to pursue chiropractic so she could help give others the same relief, movement, and function that she had seen patients experience.

Today, she is grateful to have the opportunity to work alongside the same doctor who helped inspire her career.

She was also a competitive swimmer for approximately 10 years, so staying active has been an important part of her life for a long time.

She currently enjoys CrossFit and says the community has been a great source of accountability and encouragement.

And when she's ready to slow down, she's perfectly happy spending a rainy day inside playing a new video game.

During LSU football season, you may also find her participating in the Tiger Band alumni game.
